Calling Papi Sorrels an entertainer is an understatement. One of the nation’s most widely traveled and nationally known dueling-piano entertainers, Papi has performed professionally across all 48 contiguous United States—leaving only Alaska and Hawaii between him and all 50—and in seven countries.
After performing with major dueling-piano companies nationwide, he became a consultant in designing dueling-piano bars and even owned one at Chez Cirque in Greenwood Village. A five-year touring stand-up comedian throughout the West and co-host of the award-winning Tony D and Papi Morning Show on Fox Sports, Papi brings extraordinary improvisational instincts to every performance.
He knows more than 1,000 songs—from the 1940s to “40 minutes ago”—and plays piano, drums, saxophone and harmonica, powered by a voice blending Elvis swagger with Joe Cocker rasp. In 2026, the Colorado Springs Gazettefeatured his nearly 30-year Colorado entertainment career, including 26 years as a professional dueler.
Papi and Missy Sorrels purchased Dueling Pianos Road Show in August 2024 and transformed it into Dueling Pianos Official. As founder of ACME Event Co. and creator of Gig Sensei, he continues developing new ivory-powered productions and sober entertainment concepts inspired by his own four-year sobriety journey.
Papi doesn’t just bring the party. The party follows him from venue to venue.
