You could find me playing alongside fantastic musicians like Hannah Kendell, who now owns Hammers Dueling Pianos here in KC. We didn’t just play songs—we learned how to move a crowd, Midwest style.
I’d grab my steak dinners at The Quaff, swap stories at The Cigar Box, and crush a burger at Town Topic before heading back to work the crowd.
And man, those crowds? They were electric.
The Power & Light District packed in fans from all over—people up in the mezzanine screaming along with every note, dollar bills flying through the air during piano battles. It was magic.
While I’ve moved on to grow Dueling Pianos Official, those KC nights are still with me.
They shaped my approach, my energy, and the team I built.
Today, when we get a call to come back to Kansas City, we bring more than music.
We bring the culture we learned here. We bring respect for the scene. We bring history.
And we still bring the fire.
