It all started at Sing Sing in Denver and Rumbay in Colorado Springs, where a young performer named Papi Sorrelslearned the art of reading a room, calling down a crowd, and making magic with 88 keys.
From there, he sharpened his craft at the world-famous Howl at the Moon, mastering not just songs but comedy, call-downs, mic work, and multi-instrument chops. His journey took him across the U.S. and around the world, including:

In 2017, Papi became the first and only Dueling Pianos player to perform in all 50 states.
In August 2024, he bought the company that launched him — alongside his wife Missy Sorrels, longtime partner Wes Vkco, and creative director PJ Gartrell — and rebranded it as Dueling Pianos Official (DPO).
